ABSTRACT

Cervical ectopic pregnancy is an exceptional condition which is responsible from high maternal morbidity and mortality. We applied a single- and multi-dose systemic Methotrexate (MTX) treatment protocols in a primipara at six weeks’ cervical pregnancy in whom fertility was intended to be preserved. Following this treatment, suction curettage was performed and any massive bleeding did not occur during this intervention. Systemic treatment modality may contribute to preserve fertility and attempts to avoid invasive surgical management.
