ABSTRACT
Aim:
Our aim was to determine the profile of nephropathy in adults in our region.
Methods:
Consecutive renal biopsies performed between January 2007 and May 2012 were reviewed. There were 90 cases (M 44, F 46, mean age: 36.63±12.59).
Results:
The most common indication for renal biopsy was nephritic syndrome and the most common diagnosis was membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis.
Conclusion:
In the last 10 years, similar findings were obtained in studies on the epidemiology of glomerulonephritis and, MPGN remains in first place.
