A 29–year-old male patient presented to our hospital with pain in the right groin. He declared suddent onset of pain after kicking the ball in a football game one week ago. Active movement of the hip was painful. Anteroposterior x-ray of the pelvis showed a thin crescent-shaped bone fragment on the superior rim of the acetabulum. The patient was prohibited from sports and prescribed analgesic medication. At one-month follow-up, the patient had complete pain relief and full muscle strength.
