Introduction:
Matrix metalloproteinase 2 levels are important in metastasis of cancer.
Patients and Methods:
In our study, we investigated by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) of the serum matrix metalloproteinase 2 levels in 86 breast cancer patients.
Results:
We were found higher in patients with liver metastasis.
Conclusion:
We suggested that serum matrix metalloproteinase 2 levels might reflect the severity of metastasis in breast cancer patients with liver metastasis.
