Wegener’s granulomatosis (WG) is characterized by granulomatous inflammation of the respiratory tract and necrotizing vasculitis involving the small- to-medium-sized vessels. The disease is rare in children - in a study by the Turkish Pediatric Vasculitis Study Group, WG was detected in only one patient over a 5-year period. Necrotizing glomerulonephritis is one of the most serious manifestations of WG. In this report, we describe a nine-year-old girl with WG who presented with chronic renal failure.
